This article provides an overview of how Pride Clothing Co. (PCC) currently thinks about sustainability, sourcing, and ethical practices.
We are a growing business and our approach will continue to evolve over time.
Our Approach
PCC is committed to making thoughtful choices that support our customers, our team, and our planet while acknowledging the realities of a small but growing brand.
We may not be perfect, but we are intentionally moving in a positive direction and looking for ways to improve.
Reducing Waste
Where possible, we use print-on-demand and create-on-demand production to help reduce excess inventory and waste.
Producing items closer to when they are ordered helps minimize unsold stock and the environmental impact of overproduction.
Suppliers and Materials
We work with suppliers that share an eco-conscious outlook and, where noted, use more eco-friendly materials or processes.
When specific products use more sustainable materials or production methods, we aim to call that out in the product details.
Work Practices & Values
PCC believes sustainability also includes how we treat people and structure work.
Examples include:
- Allowing employees flexibility to work from home where feasible to help reduce commuting-related carbon footprints.
- Encouraging recycling and resource-conscious practices where possible.
As we grow, we will continue exploring additional ways to support sustainability and ethical sourcing.
